Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) concealed weapons qualifications are provided through our sister company CJSI-VA (DCJS #88-1503). Qualifications are by appointment only. Call 757-872-4132 for more information.

$8.00 per hour range fee for all Active, Reserve, & Retired Military, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders, and current DCJS Certified Security Personnel.

All Active, Reserve, & Retired Military, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders shoot FREE the 1st and 15th of every month.

All Northrop Grumman Newport News employees and DCJS Certified Security Personnel shoot FREE the 24th of every month.

Official ID is required for all special rates.

Northrop Grumman Newport News employees receive $10 off the regular price of the Concealed Weapons Course.
 
All students will be charged an additional $10 to change to a class on a different date.

Indoor Shooting Range
  • The Marksman is the only indoor shooting range in Newport News, Virginia.
  • We offer eight lanes and a clean, safe shooting environment.
  • Range Rates are as follows:
    • Hourly Range Use:
      • $16.00 per person per hour if you use your ammunition
      • $12.50 per person per hour if you purchase our ammunition   
      • $12.00 per person per hour for Concealed Weapons Permit holders
      • $10.00 per person per hour for ALL Military, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders, and DCJS registered personnel
    • Memberships
      • $175.00 Annual Family Membership
      • $125.00 Renewal Family Membership
      • $125.00 Military and Law Enforcement Membership and Renewal
      • $90.00 Six Month Membership
    • Gun Rentals
      • $15.00 for first rental per visit
      • $5.00 for each additional rental per visit
      • Rentals available include Sig Sauer, Glock, Kahr, Springfield, Smith & Wesson, Berretta, Taurus, and Walther
      • Please note-if you use our rentals you may use your own ammo; however, it will be checked prior to use to ensure it does not contain any steel
    • Eye and Ear Protection Rental
      • $0.50 each per person per visit
