Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) concealed weapons qualifications are provided through our sister company CJSI-VA (DCJS #88-1503). Qualifications are by appointment only. Call 757-872-4132 for more information.

$8.00 per hour range fee for all Active, Reserve, & Retired Military, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders, and current DCJS Certified Security Personnel.

All Active, Reserve, & Retired Military, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders shoot FREE the 1st and 15th of every month.

All Northrop Grumman Newport News employees and DCJS Certified Security Personnel shoot FREE the 24th of every month.

Official ID is required for all special rates.

Concealed Weapons Courses
  • Most Circuit Courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia mandate training for each individual applying for a concealed handgun permit.  The Marksman offers this training.  Our instructors are all DCJS certified and some are also NRA certified.
  • Our on site concealed carry training is essential for everyone who has a pistol for self-defense, not just concealed weapon permit seekers.
  • All individuals who might use a firearm in self-defense need certified training in safety and defensive use of the handgun to back them up.

  • The tuition is $55.00 and includes all written training material.
